How to Display Your Artwork in a Virtual Room

I was planning on posting this tutorial next month as I am still learning. Basically, it is the same way I use to Create a Canvas Mock-up but instead of using the white background I am using an image I bought from Etsy. You can find the image at this link.

Because She Loves Roses – Limited Edition Print.

Before You Start:

  • When you are done, save your work using “Save as” with a different name so you don’t lose the original image.

Here are the steps:

  • Open the wall/room image in Photoshop.

  • Drag and drop your artwork image on top of the room/wall image.

  • Adjust the size of the artwork image. In this example, I changed the image scale to 50%, don’t forget to select the Maintain aspect ratio. Then click Enter.

  • Select the Move Tool, and place your artwork image where you want it to be.

  • Click on fx and choose Drop Shadow, you can match your settings to the ones I am using if you want.

  • While you are in the same window, add Bevel & Emboss.

  • Save as .png

30 in 30/ First Week

Last time I did the 30 in 30 I were kind of disconnected, painting was so hard for me. So I decided this time to focus on what makes me enjoy painting. I feel different about art these days, and I think I am starting to be more spontaneous with painting. I am posting daily on my Instagram and I will post a weekly post about the paintings I did. So here are the paintings for the first week, I managed to paint 5 out of 7.

How’s your journey with art is going so far? Do you think you found your art style? Or are you still in exploring mode?  🙂

Don’t forget to leave your Instagram account in the comment below so I could follow you back.
