My name is Marwa, and I am a 35-year-old self-taught artist.
I have been painting on and off for few years, and it was only in 2016 that I decided to be a full-time artist.
What Inspires the Paintings?
Usually, I love to paint landscape and cityscape. But it is more about the story and mood than the subject itself. And sometimes it's just about the abstract shapes.
I paint with oil colors and I work with a limited palette of Alizarin Crimson, Phthalo Blue, Cadmium Yellow Pale Hue, Titanium White and Soft Mixing White with Liquin Fine Detail as a medium and Sansodor as a solvent. And I use soft brushes, palette knives and sometimes my fingers to paint.
